About the role
Test web, mobile and API products for Tech X clients. You will plan test runs, write and run manual and automated tests, and report what you find clearly enough that developers can fix it the same day.
Responsibilities
- Write test plans and test cases from requirements and user stories
- Run manual and automated regression tests before each release
- Log defects with clear steps, evidence and severity
- Test REST APIs and check responses against the contract
- Write a short report at the end of every test run
Required qualifications
- Working knowledge of manual testing techniques and the defect life cycle
- Some experience with an automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Comfortable with an API client such as Postman
- Good written English
